I graduated with a bachelor's degree in theatre from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2013. At university I learned how tricks to help with pronunciation. I have had a few courses to expand my tutoring techniques as well as having first hand experience teaching English. I enjoy working with both adults and children!
Experience
I have experience tutoring kids, preteens, and motivated adults. I enjoy this line of work and find fulfillment when I see a student making progress! I've found that each student has a different way of learning and I tailor my teaching style to help them learn to the best of their abilities. While I attended university I took classes that emphasized the voice and how to work with it. These classes have given me the tools to help students learn how to properly pronounce words and how to use their voice without harming it.

I have a wide range of interests! I love theatre and I try to be as involved in it as I possibly can be. I love to dance, sing, be in nature, learn new skills, read, meet new people, ride my bike, travel, and much more. I enjoy learning about the passions of other people and try to integrate these discussions into lessons.
